Dr. Kassim Mohammed Al-Hassani, Senior Telecommunication Consultant. Currently working as Technical Advisor for Kuwait Communications and Information’s Technology Commission as well as consultant for GCX in UAE. Worked with many cooperate and organisation like BP, GBI, Iraq University College, Shamara Group, Libyan Ministry of Information technology, Qnet, Basra Local Government, Talia Group, Hayaat Telecom and many other ISP providers in Iraq and the Region Previously worked as a Director General for ITPC (Iraqi Telecommunication & Post Company) and also Director General for SCIS (State Company for Internet Services) Iraq Ministry of Communications companies from 2004 till end of 2011. Previous experience in the field of Communication and Broadcasting as a consultant for BTCellnet, Cable and Wireless, T-Mobile, NTL and Ericsson and was also Systems Manager for Associated Press Television (APTV), Reuters and “Channel 5”. Worked with top consultancy firms such as Cap Gemini, Deloitte & Touche and Hays Consulting for real time projects such as Ireland Election System (RTE) Hold PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) in Wireless Communications from London Brunel University, UK, MA in Communications Policy Also Postgraduate in Telecommunication Regulations from Westminster University in UK and many other qualifications in the field of Telecommunications and IT Over 25 years’ experience in international Telecoms and IT services, performing strategic consulting in the areas of new product development, process improvement, customer acquisition and market strategy.
